c.1830 Bruguier Fusee Bird Box
This bird box dates to the very beginning of the bird box development, when only makers such as Charles Bruguier and Rochat were active in Switzerland. The fusee driven bird pops out, turns his head and body, flaps his beak and wings, etc., a simply wondrous mechanical marvel.

Double Singing Bird Music Box
A rare and unique item, comprising not one, but two, singing birds who rise from their nest and sing a song to each other. This type of singing bird box was made in extremely small quantities back in the 1800's, and there is one small workshop today who has produced a few, each unique and uncompromising in quality of workmanship and materials.
With silver case, gold adornments, enamels, etc., this is a treasure not to be seen again as there are no other artisans who have mastered the craft in modern times.
