Large French Bontems 2-Bird Cages
In Like-New Condition!
These fabulous bird cages were made by Bontems of Paris in the late 1800's.
Each stands about 23" tall, and 12" diameter at the base of the round cage. The square-based one is about 10” across.
The brass cage, with embossed repousse base, has been polished and lacquered to prevent tarnishing. The birds have been cleaned and serviced and new bellows installed.
Recently professionally restored and fully operational, you may never see any in finer condition.
3-Birds in Cage
An unusual and decorative bird cage, with three colorful animated birds chirping away on their perches. A very nice, large, modern example.
