              Welcome!

The music boxes and other items on these pages are proudly displayed in my home,  as they must pass my own standards  of quality and aesthetics. All are offered for sale, which provides our family with an ever-changing musical  decor for us to enjoy  during our stewardship. Most of the pieces that you will see on these pages are over 100 years old, many have been lovingly restored, mechanically and cosmetically, by supreme masters of their craft. It has always been my taste and desire, when collecting antiques, to have pieces that are visually delightful; my tastes further demanded that they be in fine mechanical condition as well. You will find neither shabby nor poorly working (and sounding) instruments offered for sale here. These treasures have been acquired from the most experienced and highly regarded museums, dealers and restorers around the world.. For purposes of space and simplicity, descriptions are usually brief; further details and additional pictures can be provided upon your request. ARE YOU SELLING?

We usually acquire our items from the world's leading restorers and museums.  Occasionally we will buy from individuals, and if you are interested in selling your music box, we may have an interest if it is a top-quality piece. But prior to doing so we must have complete information from you, via email, including a complete set of photographs, location, and your asking price.  We will quickly let you know the level of our interest and if we decline, we may also refer you to another dealer who can assist you.  Please DO NOT call us prior to submitting your email; there is no way we can evaluate your music box over the phone or give you an advance estimate of value. Email us at: rcole@musicaltreasuresofmiami.com

              NEED AN APPRAISAL OR VALUATION?

Every day we get many requests to place a value on a musical item.  It is impossible for us to accommodate such requests, due to time and legal constraints.  Please do not call us requesting an opinion of value.
